Elizabeth was just looking for a husband to save her family's ranch.  Asa wanted nothing more than to buy a small spread and marry a lady and have a family.  They both got more than they bargained for.  Asa and Elizabeth are both dealing with issues from their pasts Elizabeth more so then Asa. At the beginning of  their marriage Asa is more than will to let Elizabeth set the pace and "rules" of their relationship.

Sarah McCarty writes historical westerns like no one else.  The plot is well rounded.  The characters are realistic.  Hope to see these two in the next book in the series.   

Sarah McCarty did an amazing job once again.  Desi has been through so much but is still fighting with everything she has.  Caine went through hell as a boy and will defend the innocent until his last breath.  The two of them make a great team once Desi learns to trust Caine.

Next in the series is Sam's Creed.

Trace of Fever (Men Who Walk of Edge of Honor #2)

Trace River is a man on a mission to stop human traffickers.  His sister, Alani was taken but rescued in When You Dare.  Priscilla "Priss" Patterson is also on a mission to take out the man who ruined her life.  The relationship between Priss and Trace moves at a realistic pace. 

When You Dare is my favorite out of thees two so far.  We actually meet Jackson in this story  he can be crude but sweet when he wants to be.

Savor the Danger is the next book in the series, which is Jackson and Alani's story.

When You Dare (Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor #1)

Molly is a shy author who is kidnapped in front of her apartment building.  Dare is in Mexico to save his best friend's sister when he also rescues Molly.  Molly is stronger then I could ever be if the same situation.  Dare is amazing (where can I find one just like him).  

Love Molly and Dare.  The relationship develops at a realistic speed.  Met some minor characters that I hope have their own story.  Molly's sister has a short prequel called Ready, Set, Jett  in the anthology called The Guy Next Door. 

Trace's (one of Dare's best friends) story next is Trace of Fever.

Maya Banks did an amazing job once again.  Still waiting on the next book in the series to come out to find out the rest of Elle, Cade and Merrick's story.  I love how the guys don't rush Elle into any type of relationship with every thing she has been through. 

Ready, Set, Jett is the first story in the Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor series. Natalie Alexander (a teacher) does not understand how a 'real' family behaves.  Jett Sutter (a PI) wants more than a no-strings affair with Molly.  It takes a road trip in the middle of a blizzard with a stray dog for them to realize what they both want.  Mean while Natalie can't get in touch with her sister Molly and is starting to get every worried. 

Molly's story is When You Dare the next book in the series.
